The LifeNet Air 2 medical helicopter had the opportunity to attend the 2nd Annual Saline County Family Safety and Preparedness Expo in Benton, Arkansas on Tuesday, September 18th.

The helicopter was one of the many first responder vehicles on static display during the event that was designed to promote preparedness in the community.

In addition to providing area families with an opportunity to learn more about the medical services available aboard LifeNet Air’s medical helicopter, the flight crew also provided free bystander CPR demonstrations at a booth inside the expo hall.

LifeNet Air 2 joined more than 40 local, state, federal and volunteer public safety, public health and preparedness organizations at the event, which included free food, child fingerprinting, safety demos, and emergency response vehicles.

The event was organized by the Saline County Office of Emergency Management.
